Contract Value: £1,030,000

 

Duration: 5 months: 10 months (September 2020 – June 2021)

 

Works Overview:
CAT B Refurbishment, LED Lighting Upgrade, New Feature Lighting Package.

Works Description

  • Full design and bulid contract from stage 2 through to stage 5 for works on Level 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 12 & 16.
  • Validation of existing services.
  • Produced small power and lighting .dwg drawings.
  • SPL took ownership of the design of circuits, calculation of all elements of circuit design.
  • Procured all lighting elements and gave value engineering opinions to reduce costs.
  • Technical submittals to client for approval.
  • Safely isolated circuits to be stripped out.

 

NEW SMALL POWER:

  • New small power to open plan offices, meeting rooms and tea points.
  • Installed an under floor power track to suit new layout.
  • Relocation of 1000 desk power positions to suit new layout.
  • Installed power to new meeting room pods.
  • Installed power to new tea points.

 

LIGHTING:

  • Upgraded entire project from fluorescent to LED saving the client on running costs, energy consumption and maintenance costs.
  • All lighting was controlled by Simmtronic lighting protocol back to hard wired LCMs’ located in accessible ceilings.
  • Simmtronic lighting fully commissioned and certified.
  • Emergency lighting tested and certified.

 

FEATURE LIGHTING:

  • Installed bespoke blown glass pendants to breakout and tea point areas throughout floors. – Feature lighting in main entrance and restaurants.
  • Designed and installed feature lighting to all passenger lift lobbies to front of house areas. 
  • RGBW LED lighting to reception desks on Level 7.

 

CONTAINMENT:

  • Installed access control containment to suit new door layouts.
